Meet the amazing woman behind The Blooming Rose: 

Ms. Rose M. King

 

It all started with her love for great-tasting food. Often making special requests from her mother, aka Ms. Katie, Rose was constantly inquiring about ingredients and asking for recipes. Rose became a student of her mother, as she began to learn her mother's recipes and cooking techniques. Always finding peace in cooking, Rose soon found great joy in seeing the happiness her cooking would bring to others. Rose considers her recipes classic yet unique, simple yet complex.

After mastering several desserts, Rose began to get several requests to cook for friends and family. The thought of opening a catering business was far fetched for a long time until one day she realized that there were few things that really brought her joy like seeing the smiles on people's faces after biting into one of her mouthwatering dishes or treats! She would literally go to events and be surprised with hugs from people who enjoyed her cooking. It became apparent that cooking was more than a hobby, it was a passion that she just couldn't ignore.  The Blooming Rose was officially opened in 2019, but the cooking has been established for many years!

 

Although Rose’s mother passed away in 1990, Rose has always considered any kitchen she cooks in as her mother’s kitchen...Welcome to the smells and flavors of Ms. Katie’s kitchen.
